Hello, my name is Chris Vander Groef. I live in Morristown, NJ where I've been working from home for 5 years. I used to live in Hoboken and work in Manhattan - and be single. Now, I live in the burbs, work from home and I'm married with (2) kids. I'm an outside sales rep for ProQuest Information and Learning, which is based in Ann Arbor, MI. I'm curretly looking for office space in Morristown (center). I'm interested in Coworking for the following reasons:
1. I am bored working from home.
2. I miss having coworkers to chat with - get lunch with / go to happy hour with.
3. I can't afford my own office space - and that's ok because I don't want to be alone anyway!
4. I need to get out of my house (away from the kids) to make phone calls - it's hard to talk to customers when the kids are screaming in the background.
5. I think my wife and I will get along better if I get out of my house for work.
6. I need some separation between my work life and my home life.
7. I'd like to play on a softball team or take part in a bowling league again - or something.
8. I'd like to have someplace to ride my motorcycle to every day (Triumph Bonnevile) or my skateboard (Dogtown Longboard).
But I DO NOT want to go back to a 9-5 office job-ever.
I'm currently looking at space in town. I'll need a bunch of people to get this to work so please call me or email me (or post here) to let me know if you're interested and how much you're willing to spend... Office space in Morristown is expensive!!
