#Cafe Rose Nicaud, French Quarter, 632 Frenchmen St, New Orleans, LA.  Frenchmen St is becoming pretty cool, with new bars, venues, and restaurants.  Great veggie lasagna here, reliable wifi, tons of natural light, easy to find a table, upbeat, good tea selection.

 

#Bayou Coffee House and Wine Bar, Midcity 326 N. Jeff Davis Parkway New Orleans, LA 504.484.7390

 

#CC's Community Coffee, Royal St., French Quarter. CC's is a chain, but is has a local feel to it.

 

#Cafe Envie, Decatur St., French Quarter

 

#Cafe Flora, Marigny

 

#Zotz, Frenchman St., French Quarter, If "edgy" is what you like, this is your place. The music is loud, (big)dogs are allowed, etc.

 

#Fair Grinds 3133 Ponce de Leon, New Orleans, LA 70119 504.913.9072.  Indoor and outside (covered) seating, great lentils, good tea selection, organic.  Studious, generally quieter vibe.  Always folks chatting/lounging out front. Wifi was buggy one day when I was there, but woman behind the counter let me reset the router myself no problem.
