I'm personally tired of working out of Starbucks/Borders (plus there aren't that many local wifi cafes), and Executive Suites around the valley are expensive and filled with suits! :) Besides, it'd be nice to share a productive work environment with other web developers, designers, writers, or other freelancers of all kinds.

As I continue to research this possibility, I will update this Wiki.

            CoWorkSpace Available: 1011 Lounge

1011 lounge is a next generation coworking environment based in the downtown phoenix arts district. it is a home away from home for the entrepreneur who needs an office space on occasion as well as a community centre for collaboration. solving the problem of having a place to work when you are on the road or when you just want out of the house, 1011 lounge provides a good-looking and creative space populated by other great people worth meeting. it is the perfect solution for new start-ups and independent innovators who are looking for a professional yet affordable way to scale their business.

coworking is an emerging trend of a new pattern for working. typically, work-at-home professionals, independent contractors or people who travel frequently end up working in an isolated way. coworking is the social gathering of people, who are still working independently, but share values and are interested in the synergy that can happen from working with talented people in the same space. coworking spaces were developed by nomadic internet entrepreneurs seeking an alternative to working in coffee shops, cafes or in home office isolation.

business accelerators, business incubators and executive suites do not seem to fit into the coworking model, because they often miss the social, collaborative, and informal aspects of the process; including management practices closer to that of a cooperative and a focus on community rather than profit.
