The main priority is to build a coworking community first, then find the space. There is a strong community of technologists, designers, & folks who support both in Santa Cruz. They call themselves Santa Cruz Geeks. Feel free to get involved, participate, or contribute as you wish.

Casual Coworking

Please join us! We are going to try and kickoff coworking for realz in Santa Cruz. We're starting out by hosting a Jelly event in our offices in the Sash Mill. Check out details on the Jelly site here. At this point you can count on joining us at Quiddities on first Fridays. Geek Dinners seem to be happening on 3rd Thursdays (tho this could always change). Hoping this provides us with much needed reconnecting between dinners and the ability to act on all of that talking!

• The Sash Mill seems to be full. We need to figure out how much space would be needed and the max price per square foot we could afford to sustain itself.
• What about renting a house? Just a thought, but a cool house or something like that might work.
